All voucher transactions not populating while settling global vendor transactions.

Hi all,

We are facing a strange issue in global transaction settlement for vendors. Till few days back when we select a vendor and go to global transactions for the vendor and click button "Settle transactions" it used to populate all intercompany transactions for the vendor. But from few days its populating only transactions for the legal entity that were selected in transactions grid while clicking button "Settle transactions".

Are we missing any setup? We have 2 months data in UAT, Test and Dev VMs and there we don't face this issue.

Just for information: Our Production and Test are at version 10.0.6 while UAT is at 10.0.14.

Any suggestions please?

a very active functional consultant may have information on this if there has been any change for this subject, with the App updates.

however, since you have tagged this into development category, here would be my thoughts.

did you tried looking into the code of that particular form? you may open the same form into two different versions and look around logic of form and classes if there is a change around that area. that may open a window to find the cause for this.

Thanks for your valuable input.

Actually strangest part is my dev vm also is on same version as Production and has Production data at it till 4th November, 2020 and there I don't face this issue.

Raised a ticket with MS to see if any setup change by any user in live environment has caused this issue.

Will update this thread if I found any resolution.

Hi Andre,

Hearty thanks for suggestion. I have asked my functional team to have a look at it. Also I would like to highlight that we recently created a new legal entity since 3 weeks and live users are complaining this issue since then.

Also I tested with one month old data and this issue isn't there. Latest data when I restore I could replicate this issue on my dev. But no luck in able to uncover root cause for any data issue that is causing this mishap.

Hi amigup2020,

It sounds as if the new legal entity creation is responsible for this issue.

Can you please double check that the new entity is correctly included in the Org-Hierarchies that you have?

Also, can you please ensure that the intercompany accounting setup is completed for this company?

I wonder if you can give an update on the status. With adding the new LE, did you also change the organization hierarchy or related settings for centralized payments?

Our functional team followed your advice and found issue in configuring Org hierarchy. Now issue is resolved.

Yours and Andre's suggested solution worked. It was an issue with Organization hierarchy setup in the new legal entity we created.

Now its working fine.
