Hi expert,
I'm upgrading MR to CU 16, i notice on security of MR now able to create user security & define role (Gererator/designer/administrator/viewer) directly, without using security ROLE from AX.
need confirm to you guys who is using this version, am i correct now able to create security directly from MR ?

Hi Agus,
When the integration part is completed with AX2012, you have to provide access using users and security roles in AX2012. This is like Ludwig mentioned in his first reply.

wanna update you, i'm able to open your link.
I've done the setup an integration connection with AX2012 as you mentioned so that i can generate the MR report.
something weird in this CU :
1. i'm able to direct setup for creating user
2. but when i gave access <> "administrator". first time login user able to login, but when they logged out & try to re-login, MR was unable to login again. I notice that company access was un-ticked.
so, what should i do regarding this user security on CU16 ?should i use Role in AX as usual ?

Did you already setup an integration connection with AX2012 when you are able to create a user? If not, complete the setup and test it again.

That would be new for me if this setup works.
All I know is that security for AX systems works only through the role setup in AX.
Would be great if you could test your setup and prove us wrong
