Show email sent from workflow on Contact timeline

I have a Contact > child form1 > child form2

When a date field is changed on Child form 2 I have a workflow setup to send an email to the owner of the contact. Email is sent from a generic user I created to send out emails.

How do I get these emails to show up on Contact timeline?

The generic user who's sending these emails has "Show emails as conversation on Timeline" checked. Track "All email messages".

    To ensure that the email activity is displayed in the contact's timeline, it is important to associate the email with the contact by setting the "Regarding" field on the email. 

    In the workflow, you can set the "Regarding" field by the following:
