Changes to knowledge base form not applied

Hi,

I have added a custom field (boolean yes/no) and, together with a web resource (file upload), I have added them to the knowledge article main form of the knowledge article entity. I did save and publish the form. Just to make sure, I have opened it in the new designer and the changes are there, I have done Publish once more. The form does not change, however.

Any idea what I could have done wrong, or which additional step may be missing to get the updated form live?

Regards and THANK YOU
Peter

    Hi Peter,

Are you choose correct form? there are multiple main form in kb article entity, you need ensure edit form and view form is same.

If you are in customer service hub app, you'd better do changes in ‘Knowledge article for interactive experience’ form to ensure all changed can be implemented.

And the default form of kb article entity is â€˜Knowledge article for interactive experience' form in customer service hub app.

Also, you can go Settings > Apps to open app designer page to add more forms of kb article entity.

    Check the below point too:

    1. Make sure that the field has 'visible by default' checked on the form.

    2. Do a publish all and not just the form if there are changes on web resources too

    3. Do remember to clear the cache of browser by ctrl+f5.

    4. Make sure you are on correct form/environment.

5.There are browser addon like dynamics 365 power pane which can show all the hidden field - it comes handy sometime.

    Thanks,

    Prateek
