Show Child Accounts' Opportunities under Parent Account

Opportunity Associated View
- In this view, I want the opportunities associated with the account to show AND any opportunity associated with the account's children to show also.

So, for instance let's say I have "ABC HealthSystem" (Parent) which has children "ABC ChildOrg1", "XYZ Child2", etc. Say there are opportunities under parent and children. So when I am in parent account's Opportunities, under Account >> Related - Opportunities, in the Opportunity Associated View, I want to show all the opportunities for the parent followed by all the opportunities of the children.

Could you please show how I can accomplish it in detail? Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

    Hi Vinay,

This available out of the box. You should set the parent account field on the child accounts. In your example that means populating ABC HealthSystem in the parent account field on the child accounts; "ABC ChildOrg1", "XYZ Child2". When you then navigate to related-opportunities you should see the 'include related' slider on the opportunity associated view. Hello Dian,

I do not see the option you have highlighted nor do I see the filter option. I am also the admin and I am fairly new to this. So if you can let me know how I can set the filter and "include related" toggle button turned on that would be helpful.

    Thanks,

    Vinay

    Hi Vinay,

There is no button to turn this on. Can you tell me if you are on D365 on premises or online and what version you are on? Also are you using the legacy interface or the Unified Interface? My screenshot is from the Unified Interface.

    Hello Dian,

I am using D365 online version. Microsoft Dynamics 365; 2019 release wave 2 enabled.

I am using Sales Hub, which i guess is i am using Unified Interface.

    Thanks,

    Vinay

Can you send a screenshot of the account form and the opportunity associated view? Can you also verify that you navigated to the Related tab and selected "Opportunities"?
Can you also let me know which version you are on? (Click on the top right gear icon and select 'About". That will show a popup with version information.

Attached the screenshots. I know for sure there are opportunities associated with the child orgs of this org. I have also verified that child orgs are correctly associated with this primary org.

Hi Vinay,  I would suggest opening a ticket with Microsoft,as this appears to be a bug. See related article: www.crmug.com/.../viewthread

I see the same, the opportunities associated view is missing hat button to toggle.  We have the latest release of CRM on-prem v9.1.17.  What did you do to resolve this issue?  We wanted to create a chart or some view so that we can see what companies are our top customers but it splits out the children as separate accounts diluting the results.  Thoughts?
