Hello Ax Experts,

I need a help about the error message 'Disposal parameters/Post value Net book value does not exist.' when I try to post a Free Text Invoice (FTI) in /Accounts receivable/Common/Free text invoices/All free text invoices. This is a fixed asset item (disposal-sale).

2022.Print1.png

I checked the Main Account 6010.01 parameter and the Main account type is 'Profit and Loss'.

Additionally I checked the Fixed asset posting profile parameters.

I don´t know why this message, someone could help me please?

Best Regards.

    Hi,

In your last screenshot there is a button "Disposal". If you click on that you should be able to select disposal-sale and disposal scrap. If you select the disposal sale Option a new window will open in which you Need to Setup all necessary accounts used for the disposal Transaction. Can you check whether something has been Setup there?

    Hello Pablo,

I cannot find that something is wrong with your setup. Yet, I also cannot find the error message in a standard demo environment.

It thus seem either to be an error caused by an adjustment or by a missing country-specific parameter. I noticed that your system seems to be Setup for Brasil. Is that right? Can you double check all your fixed asset parameters whether a country-specific setup is missing there?

    Hi Pablo,

Can you check if the main accounts which are setup on the disposal parameters are included in an active account structure for the current ledger? If this isn't the case, I would have the same thoughts as Ludwig.

    Hello Ludwig,

    Thanks again for your response.

You are right, the system is setup for Brazil and I´ll make a double check in all fixed asset parameters.

I will return as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Hello Andre,

Thanks for your help. The main accounts are included in the active account structure for the current ledger.

    The problem still.

    Hello All,

    Solution in this case:

In /Fixed assets/Common/Fixed assets/Fixed assets -> select the fixed asst -> Value Models -> General tab there were a 'Posting profile' that no exist more. We changed it to a new that exists and the Post works fine.

    Hi Pablo,

I had the same error mesage in AX365 postin Fixed asset journal with type Disposal - Scrap.

The solution is that "Post value" should be "Net book value"
