CRM Dynamics 2011 missing labels and truncated views

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Last Friday users reported missing label for Documents and obstructed/truncated views for Activities and Description open text field.  Users are still able to add Activities, but once the window is closed, they are unable to view the information.  The Description, an open text field is truncated, but the scroll bar still works.  The label for Documents disappeared, which is linked to a SharePoint site to upload documents.

    Hello Suunyin SD,

There was an issue with a couple of recent updates which has been caused display issue in CRM.

heres a link to a thread discussing it:

    community.dynamics.com/.../230126

There are a couple of workarounds discussed in the thread, each with a  its own problems.

What we did to get around it was uninstall the updates causing the issue (KB4012215 & KB4012204) there are possibly more causing the issue, depends on the users OS.

    Hope this helps you.

    regards,
