Has anyone been able to get Dynamics GP 18.2 to work with a ScanSnap iX500 scanner? One of our clients wants to be able scan documents by clicking on the Scan button. Unfortunately the Scan button is dim because it does not see the scanner despite the fact that the scanner is listed as a device connected to her computer.
That was the first thing we did as we started this process. Is there some installation process that needs to be run for a WIA scanner that installs drivers and/or services?
Hi Richard,
If the Scan button is grey, you can turn it on by going to Tools > Setup > Company > Doc Attach > be sure "Allow Document Attachments" is marked.
