Cycle counting WHS app error - "Product or variant is not on the order"

Hi everyone,

I am facing a problem with the WHS mobile device app: the sequence of the steps in the process is scan the item and than enter the counted quantity for that item,but after the first iteration the system shows the enter value for the previous item without letting the user to continue with the scaning for the next item,and when the same value is enter again the error "Product or variant type not in the order" appears. As I can see in the code while debugging it seems like the map "pass" is not removing the value #ProductConfirmation and showing it again and again. Is anyone facing the same issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I'm currently facing this issue also when using product confirmation. Have you had any insight as of yet? Would be much appreciated.

    Hey all,

    I'm also getting the same error on the mobile app. My Item is a product master with variants. L/M/S Sizes. not sure how to get around this error message? it doesn't occur for standard products that don't have variants.

    I think we got around this issue as the variants did not have the bar code setup. To do this, navigate through to:

    Product information management -> Products -> Released products 

    Under Manage stock click on Bar codes

    You can then create unique barcodes for each variant. It's also key to note here once the barcode is generated for the variant product, you will need to select General from the top and then enable scanning/printing parameters (see screenshots below).

    I tried the suggestion from SunilRatna below, we were getting the same message when picking and confirming the item code.
     
    This creates a unique variant number which then becomes the barcode. Using copy and paste function, with access to the client, we were able to paste in the unique variant number to the mobile device when confirming the item, it's important to note though that the mobile device always displays the Item code and not the new variant number so not sure how you can get around this?
    Also, you'll need to find a way of presenting the new variant number (which is the barcode) on your inventory for scanning purposes.
