Where do Source Expressions come from?

I am wondering where these Source Expressions for each page pull their data from and if they do anything to those values. Also if anyone is familiar with JetReports, I know how to pull data from the Table Fields with NL statements but I don't know how to access Source Expressions. This is just a quick screenshot of some Source Expressions, normally there are many values here.

    Edward,

Those source expressions are assigned to one/more of the controls on the page, if you have any variables defined on the page which has property IncludeInDataSet to yes the those will display there and also for decimal fields it will display the format for that control.

May i know why would you need those source expression values?

Regarding JetReports refer below link and also there are several other posts and videos on youtube.

If you look in this particular source expression, you will see Total Payment. This should normally reflect what is found in the Table Fields however I often see different values. I also want to pull certain values from Source Expressions into JetReports but I cannot find a table name or other identifying features to isolate it.

Hi Suresh, I'm also trying to analyse data shown in Source Expression through Jet reports. Were you able to resolve this query? I'm trying to sum Adjusted Cost (LCY) in the Sales Invoice Header however it doesn't appear as a numerical filter when using the NL function.

    Kind regards

    Alison
