How to maintain budget for Capital expenditure in AX

I would like to know how to maintain budget for Capital expenditure in AX

    Hi,

    There are two options:

    • budget for capital expenditures like assets can be maintained via the fixed assets budgets journal. General Ledger - Journals - Fixed Assets Budget Journal (requires setup of JournalName). The journal can create a budget based on the asset depreciation proposal. This proposal can be posted to the asset budget or asset and ledgerbudget.
    • use the ledgerbudget form to create budgets.
