Updating real-time consent by Flow not possible?

Hi fellow community, I am trying to update records in the consent center by using a flow - based on values on the contact "owning" the contactpoint. This seems to be impossible. I can create new consents, but get an error when I try to update one allready existing. For example, when a value in the contact record changes I want to update or create new consent using the contact's mobile phone number.

I get this error message: Updating of msdynmkt_contactpointvalue attribute(s) is not supported.

Seems like the only way to change consent is by using either the preference center (the contact does it by his/her own) or using the Consent Center in the UI.

Anyone worked around this?

Thanks, Nya. In the flow, it works by doing a list rows first, and update (omitting the contact point value) or insert new row. Trying the same using dataflow when importing, not so much, though.

Hi Ola,

The field "msdynmkt_contactpointvalue"(Contact point, which is also shown as Phone number in the form) is a locked one.

It is by design that it cannot be updated even with JS or similar way.
