Free Text - Vendor Invoice

Hello guys,

Is it possible in AX 2012 to have free text invoice for vendor?

The scenario should be the seame like free text invoice for customer. Therefore I do not need to have posting profile for each items. I may fill the procurement category. but I can manage the main account manually.

    The accounts payable equivalent to a customer free text invoice is basically using a Vendor invoice journal.  Within a single voucher, start with the Vendor line, providing the invoice number, document number, document date, and full credit amount, etc.  Then offset that amount with Ledger lines, using the description of each line just as you would the "free text" on the customer free text invoice, and specifying the main account, dimensions, and debit amount for the offset expense.  You can have many offset Ledger lines to a single Vendor line, just as you can have many lines in a free text invoice.  You can also apply Sales tax and such to the individual lines within the Vendor invoice journal.

    Interestingly, you can do exactly this same thing in a General journal to both vendors and customers.  Thus, there are technically 3 ways to invoice a customer, a) Sales invoice via a Sales order, b) Free text invoice, and c) General journal.
