Update_recordset with Join doesn't work

Hi all I have this code but it didn't update

update_recordset custConfirmJour
setting
newField = salesTable.ShippingDateRequested
join salesTable
where salesTable.SalesId == custConfirmJour.SalesId;

Any ideas, I did the while select forupdate and work perfectly, I just wanted to improve it.

According to documentation, it should work already in AX 2009. Can you elaborate your problem, please?

By the way, you joined condition may be incorrect. You seem to assume that there is always one confirmation for each order, but it doesn't have to be the case.
