COM error in capacity utilization, graphical

Hello 

In the basic settings in Dynamics AX 2009, I get an error message when opening the following query "Queries > Resources > Capacity utilization, graphical".

Error message: Method 'clearData' in COM object of class '_Chart' has returned error code 0x80020010 (<unknown>), meaning <unknown>.

I've tried with another laptop (same type and same account), no error message and opens the capacity utilization, graphically without problems.

If I show "More settings" in the error message, then comes the following address: INFOLOG://1376

Hallo Zusammen

In den Grundeinstellungen im Dynamics AX 2009 bekomme ich beim Öffnen folgender Abfrage "Abfragen > Ressourcen > Kapazitätsauslastung, grafisch" eine Fehlermeldung.

Fehlermeldung: Methode 'clearData' im COM-Objekt der Klasse '_Chart' hat Fehlercode 0x80020010 (<unbekannt>) zurückgegeben, das bedeutet: <unbekannt>.

Ich habe mit einem weiteren Laptop (gleicher Typ und gleicher Account), keine Fehlermeldung und kann die Kapazitätsauslastung, grafisch ohne Probleme öffnen.

Wenn ich bei der Fehlermeldung "Weitere Einstellungen" anzeige, dann kommt folgende Adresse: INFOLOG://1376

    Apologies for a late reply. Have you solved the issue in the meantime? If not, try to contact a developer (as mentioned above) as I'm not aware which exact dlls or components are used and if they are really the same on both laptops.

    Thanks for your reply!

    I have two identical laptops with the same version of Windows (Win10 Pro, 10.0.19042 Build 19042) and on one laptop it works and on the other this error message appears.

    But I still do not understand why after reinstalling the OS and software, it still doesn't work. I have the same version of Dynamics AX 2009 installed on both.

    I also copied the installation directory and replaced the dll files. Without success.

    Hi,

    It might be related to the Windows version or some client controls (dll, ocx) which are not present or has a wrong version. A developer would be able to check what exact control is called and probably also which version would be required.
