Hi there
I have a role, which shold be able to add, change, delete and validate "costing sheets". The role has "Delete" rights on Costing sheets, but it's not working.
What privilege/duty am I missing? Any ideas?
Our developper noted the problem was on missing grants in following path:
privilege ‘Maintain cost version per indirect cost type’, Display menu items, CostSheetDesigner +, References [COstSheetDesigner] (controls/Datasources).
Hi Hanna,
Thank you for posting the solution to your issue.
I have the Problem: The Duty "CostingVersionCostMasterMaintain" denies acces to the save and validate buttons.
Thanks a lot for your help
No, it is not working.
It is the role of the Head of Accounting/Finance, it is intentionally a very powerful role
Hi Hanna,
Is it all working now?
I would like to make a comment on the role contents. As you referenced a lot of sub-roles this would be a powerful user which scares me (and many EDP auditors). Can you tell about the purpose of this role?
Thanks for the quick reply. I checked and the role does not have this privilege "CostSheetCalculationFactorMaintain"
MY role has the following settings:
As well as individual rights on entrypoints:
Among other, these regarding to costsheets, all with delete rights:
As of now, the role has the following view on the cost sheets:
Hi Hanna85,
Can you explain what security objects are assigned to the current role and explain what you mean with 'Not working'? Is the costing sheets accessible, but only with read rights or isn't the form visible at all? It would be great if you can provide some more information.
Hi Hanna,
Which privilege did you use? By any chance if you are using a privilege that has the controls CreateButton, DeleteButton and ValidateButton with Grant property set to "NoAccess", it might not work. Please check the privilege "CostSheetCalculationFactorMaintain" which has this property set.
