Hi,
What is the benefit for deadline in sales order, can I make an action if sales order exceeds deadline date without making confirmation or packing slip ??
Thanks
Anas

If the sales order is received after this deadline, the company treats the sales order as if it is received the next business day.

Hi @Kumar,i am interested into this question.
would you please explain me on 'next business day'
Assume that Your client works from 9 AM - 6 PM , if receive any sales order between these timings system will treat that sales order placed date or order date is today's date , if the sales order received after 6 PM of today then the order date is next business working day.
Sales order may be created manually or through some portals also.
Dear Sohaib,
I hope reply from Mr. lally cleared your doubt additionally my comments below
You can set up order-entry-deadline times for all the days of the week in the Order entry deadlines form. If an order is received after this time, it will be treated as if it is received the next day. By default, these times are set to 23:59 – that is, one minute to midnight at the end of the relevant day. You can change the default times, so that they coincide with actual ship- or receipt-deadline times.
Even if you have any issue please add me on skype(prashant_cs2009) I will explain you in details
