The non-power user can see the Smartlist Designer report and run it, but when they choose to modify it, they get the message that "You cannot modify the SmartList because you do not have access to one or more tables or views." I have given the user access to all the tables. They can create their own reports, run them, and modify them. They just cannot modify reports created by the sa user. Is this by design?
Can you give a non-power user access to modify a Smartlist Designer report created by another user
Yes, the behavior you’re encountering with SmartList Designer in Dynamics GP can be by design due to how permissions and ownership are managed within the system.
