AX 7 VM: Unable to run AX

I am able to provision my user as Admin on the VM.

When trying to access the Ax I get the following error:

There is a problem with the server

Sorry, the server has encountered an error. It is either not available or it can't respond at this time. Please contact your system administrator.

500 Error

I have done the following:

1. Made sure I have internet connection. (The fact that I am able to provision the user means I have internet connection)

2. By passed the proxy and firewall

3. Ensured the Ax service is running

4. Change the VM's date and time zone to be the same as the host.

Suggestions please

Hello Craig,

I experienced this from time to time and simply logged of and on again. If you wait some minutes it should work again. Another thing that also helped is chosing a different internet connection and/or disconnecting and reconnecting to the connection you have. Hope this helps,

Hi Craig,

What type of account did you specify for your admin user? Is it a corporate account or e.g. a hotmail account?

Do you have installed a package with customizations or tried to customize some parts of the solution, then ensure the solution is compilation error free.

Have been through the articles before.

I am able to create the user, so its not the user.

It is after I have entered user name and password that I get Error 500

Review Windows Event Viewer to see if some custommization made your Ax off.

Its a VM downloaded from MS, there is no customization.

I use a 0365 account and I haven't problems.

Pls, could you see event viewer to find more information?
