Business process design and implementation

My organisation is currently implementing MS Dynamics Sales to manage our main business process. We are an PE investment company and therefore the process is an investment process centred around identifying an investment opportunity and gradually qualifying it through analysis and negotiations.

A key returning question from senior stakeholders have been how we can map and digitalise our different sub-processes in the best way and how we make it easy to update them continuously after the project is done.

An ambition for the senior stakeholders is that none-IT process owners can with limited training design / draw their processes in a program, which is then more or less automatically translated into a working process flow in the system. Ideally, the users would be able to design the process with all the different conditions and interdependencies they include (e.g. if event a, then process flow 1, if event b, then process flow 2 etc.).

Are there any build in features or applications within the Dynamics universe that can support this? It can also be third party solutions as along as they work well with Dynamics Sales.

I have discussed our request a few times with our developers, but their answers have been vague and not very satisfying, so I am looking for a bit of input and sparring to be able to continue the discussion with the developers on a more informed basis.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
1.You can use Business process flow to guide the actions of the current user.
2,If you want to achieve some automatically, you can use business rule, workflow or flow.
