Hi there,

I would like to add information from other entities on the hoover text in the planning board of field service. Currently the following fields are standard visible:

I would like to replace and add aditional fields on the appointment (see screenshot)
- Name of the service account,
- The city of the account,
- a custom field which is on the work order which adresses the type of work (full renovation or other types.)

How and where can I do this?

Please advice!
Regards, Phill

    Hi,

    To update the hover text on the Schedule Board, you can simply modify the view to include the fields you want. Please follow the steps below:
    To update hover text on the Schedule Board:
    1. Click on Board Settings.
    1. In the settings window, select Work Order under Schedule Types.
    2. Locate the Booking Tooltip View. Choose or update the view (e.g., Work Order Booking Map Tooltips View) by adding the desired fields.

    Once saved, the updated fields will appear in the hover tooltip on the Schedule Board.

    To add or replace fields in the Booking Time Slots:
    1. Go to Board Settings again and select Work Order under Schedule Types.
    2. Find the Custom Booking Template section and enable it.
    3. Click Edit, which opens a new pop-up containing the current HTML layout.
    1. You can add the following template snippet to include the Service Account Name and City:
    <div>
      {SchedulableEntityDisplayName} - {name}<br />
      Duration: <strong class="bold">{duration}</strong><br />
      <strong class="bold">{msdyn_msdyn_workorder_bookableresourcebooking_WorkOrder.msdyn_account_msdyn_workorder_ServiceAccount.name}</strong><br />
      <strong class="bold">{msdyn_msdyn_workorder_bookableresourcebooking_WorkOrder.msdyn_account_msdyn_workorder_ServiceAccount.address1_city}</strong>
    </div>

    You can include any other custom field in a similar format within the Schedule Board. Just ensure the field’s logical name is used correctly.
    Hope this helps

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks a lot this helps me a lot!

    I only need the lag_Behoefte field from the work order entity in there. What code is needed and can I get it from the work order right away? Or do I need to place the field on another entity? It's need to be between testing and Nunspeet. I hope you can help me on this last question.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    Yes, you can directly show custom fields from the Work Order on the Schedule Board. There's no need to add them to any other entity.
    To display the "lag_Behoefte" field, you can use this format:
    {msdyn_msdyn_workorder_bookableresourcebooking_WorkOrder.lag_Behoefte}

    In this, the first part is the relationship name between the Work Order and Bookable Resource Booking, and the second part is the logical name of the field.
    If you want to place this field between other fields in the HTML layout, just add it in the desired spot like this:
    <div>
      {SchedulableEntityDisplayName} - {name}<br />
      Duration: <strong class="bold">{duration}</strong><br />
      <strong class="bold">{msdyn_msdyn_workorder_bookableresourcebooking_WorkOrder.msdyn_account_msdyn_workorder_ServiceAccount.name}</strong><br />
      <strong class="bold">{msdyn_msdyn_workorder_bookableresourcebooking_WorkOrder.lag_Behoefte}</strong><br />
      <strong class="bold">{msdyn_msdyn_workorder_bookableresourcebooking_WorkOrder.msdyn_account_msdyn_workorder_ServiceAccount.address1_city}</strong>
    </div>
    This should display the field correctly on the Schedule Board.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
