SSRS report running issue in AX2012 R3

We are facing an error while opening the SSRS report from AX 2012 R2 after successful installation and configuration of SSRS with SQL Rever Reporting Server. We followed the steps as provided in Ax Installation an Configuration Guide and also take help from the Technet. We installed SQL Server 2016 Data Centre SP2 Reporting services and configure the reporting server through SQL configuration utility and faced no issue. We also have done the Report Server setups under Ax after installing the Reporting Service extension, validation also got successful.

The issue is coming on Network Domain Administrator Login. All the services (SQL service , SQL Reporting Services, AX services) are logon with Network Domain Administrator.

SQL reporting services Execution account is also on Network Domain Administrator.

All the reports got deployed through powershell and same have been checked in report server.

 Then also while we are trying to open the report from Ax we are facing the following error -

 "Error while setting server report parameters. error message: an error occurred while executing oninit: the report execution failed to start. verify that report extensions have been installed or are configured correctly. Please consult your administrator or documentation (rsErrorInOnInit)"

Please help us to resolve this issue.

    Hi,

    I am using:

    AX: AX 2012 R3 CU12

    OS: Windows server 2012 DataCentre R2

    SQL: Micosoft SQL Server 2016

    As stated earlier, Both Configurations of SQL SERVER Report and AX Report server was correctly configured.

    I am able to solve the problem as per following steps: -

    a) Some Changes SQL Reports Server Configuration Files. (Followed link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/modify-reporting-services-configuration-files?redirectedfrom=MSDN)

    b) After [step-a] the reported error is resolved and then found new error "The target Principal name is incorrect" while running any SSRS report.

    c) Followed steps as suggested in "https://msdynamicsaxtips.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-target-principal-name-is-incorrect.html" but same error is not resolved.   

    d) Then i create new configuration and refresh configuration and then open AX with new configuration.

    e) All the reports are running successfully.

    Hi Vikas,

    This maybe because report configuration file is not well configured, seemed like the SQL update overwrote the SSRS configs and removed the AX modifications likely. Could you please help to have a check the config files~
