Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has added a formula in D365

General ledger > Inquiries and reports > Trial balance page > I want to add a new column called 'Net Activity' and then calculate the 'Net Activity' (from debits and credits)

Can this be achieved by adding a formula and calculating the 'Net Activity'. Then I would like to save this as a new View so its only available to me

If you have experience with this can you please provide steps on how this is done

HI,

You have to develop this, yes we created extra columns in TB page with formulas and its feasible.

Hello,

Thanks for your response. I was able to add the 'Net Activity' column using Personalize page option, if anyone knows how to add a formula to calculate the 'Net Activity', please share

You are not able to add formulas from the user interface. You need to have a developer make a customization for you, as Ramit suggested.
