Hi,

We have created new department as one of our Dimension (i.e R&D Department); however. the posted transactions are not showing when we run the Account Schedule Overview. Is this set up issue? Please kindly help!

Thank you,

RE: Account Schedule Not Reflect Updated Dimension

    Hi,

Rename Dimension Code 'R & D' to RnD (In Dimension Value)... This issue is due to Special Character ('&').

Once you will rename the Dimension Code, it will also rename in all the transactions as well.

    Hope this helps..

RE: Account Schedule Not Reflect Updated Dimension

    Hi Mahesh,

Sorry for the late reply. Please see below update in regards of the new dimension setup:

R&D Department Dimension is Global Dimension 1 Code; we are able to see other departments (Our Global Dimension 1 is set up as different dept). We can see the posted transactions updated with dimension (Dept Code) in GL Transactions.  We are also able to choose R&D Department in the Department Filter; however, the data appears to be blank when we set the filter to R&D Dept (additional code added to Global dimension 1)

We are wondering if this is a dimension code set up issue or Analysis by Dimensions Report. Please help. Thank you!

RE: Account Schedule Not Reflect Updated Dimension

    Hi,

Do you mean that the transaction related to that Dimension is not showing at all in the Account Schedule?

    1. Please check whether the Dimension is Global Dimension 1 Code or Global Dimension 2 Code.  Only these two dimensions will be available for filter by default.

    2. If you want to have other Dimensions also, you need to map an Analysis View to the Account Schedule.  Please check all these.

    3. Still if the record is not available, check whether the respective G/L Account is in the Account Schedule and the entries are having the new Dimension and are they falling in the Date Range selected in the Account Schedule.
