Hello Folks,

I had a question on utilizing standard AX cubes for our initial BI implementation. I understand that we can customize the cubes and the extend it based on the requirements, but how does the cube get updated. Does it create a SSIS package(ETL) to for us to work and extend it or do we need to build one from scratch. Will these perspectives/Cubes be updated by some other process.

either you have to create SSIS package or you can use sql server agent to create a job.

This job will process your BI cubes if you schedule them.
