Warehouse receiving purchase orders and Sales Order

Hi, 

Is it possible to receive/ship and invoice a sales order and a purchase order all at once without having to go to each purchase and sales order individually. I.E. you create a sales order and then create its sister purchase order. Is there a way to ship and invoice the sales order and it will automatically receive and invoice the purchase order?

    You can check Drop Shipment functionality.

    No I don't think you can ship and invoice the sales order and have it automatically receive and invoice the purchase order because those receiving steps need to happen first. If you guys use directed pick/put-away then for sure this can't happen because the item needs to be in stock and in a bin before it can be picked for the sales order.

    This means based on sales order demand purchase order is created and there is linkage between sales order and purchase order

    If you want to post both at a time then you need to write the program to fulfill the requirement

    Hi William

    Navision Standard Functionality you cannot achieve this so you have to go for Customization.

    You can do drop shipment what this will do when you Receive Goods for Purchase Order System will Automatically do the Shipment as per to the Quantity Received on the Purchase Order.

    this has to be done by order by order if you are happy with This method you can do the Standard Functionality of Drop Shipment on NAV.
