Usage based reports follow up

We recently started using the sales CRM and looking to incorporate other aspects of our projects into the dynamics CRM.

Requirement - Some users manually report the usage of the license annually or quarterly. They report it via email. I would like to store the data of clients' licenses in the crm (currently in a separate system), and send automated emails to clients based on the date when the usage report is expected. when they respond to the email, store the information with the account. It in turn should create a task for review and the sales executive could issue a new invoice after reviewing the details. If no email is received then a new task of follow-up for that client should be created.

Since I am new to the Dynamics365 system, any pointers will be appreciated on best way to store the data to help trigger the emails and link the attached file back to the account so someone can review it.

    Hi chaudharynikhil7,

    Based on your description, you could use D365 Marketing to send marketing email to your clients. And then upload their information or create a new task based on their interaction.
