For the new GST update for India, is this only a kernel install or is it also application install? In the India GST Installation and Setup Guide, for AX 2012 R3, it says unless you are using retail, you will only need the kernel install. KB4019353. "If you don’t use Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail solution, only the Application Object Server (AOS) instance must be updated via the kernel hotfix installation." We do not use retail. However, I looked at the latest hotfixes and there are several new ones since the document was released that do pertain to project accounting and we use that.
1. So should the Application hotfix for the above KB4019353 be installed even though it says it was only for retail?
2. Should the application hotfixes be installed now and then all the ones below? I know #2 would need to be done as this is a kernel update, but not sure about 1 and 3. The objects discussed in 1&3 are non-retail, but include project accounting.
3. If I install these application updates, since we are on CU11, would that make us upgrade to CU12?
