Global Email Template - Insert Custom Entity fields?

I wanted to create an email template for a custom entity I created.  It looks like I am forced to use "Global" though since my custom entity wasn't an option to limit the email template to.

Furthermore I cannot insert fields to auto-populate in the email template from my custom entity.  It only shows the 'User' entity to select fields from...  so I'm guessing this is not possible?

    Hello Use,

    You are on right path just need some more details that is it.

    Basically if you want to add email templates for the custom entities then you will have to use template type Global.

    As per your requirement you can also populate the Custom entities data on the email template.
