Workflow condition isn't working

Hello all,

I have created one custom workflow few days ago. Now, we have a requirement to add one condition in it. But the condition isn't working at all.

The condition always returns true. Is there anything we have to modify using code or we are missing something in the workflow?

Here, as shown in the image, I have added one condition to the workflow, that If the department is 1464 then GRN workflow 4, else GRN workflow 3.

But whatever department I have in my table, it always returns true in the condition, and runs GRN workflow 4.

What am I doing wrong nmaenpaa ?

Hi Bhagyashree,

Does your table have a field DefaultDimension? For an example in Purchase order workflow, You can get the Department value using Purchase orders.DefaultDImension.Department

Hi Gunjan,

Yes, I have that too in my table, and also I have stored value of department individually. Still it's not working for any of them.

Is there anything I need to add from coding side to flow the values?

I don't understand what's happening here, I tried to change the condition, but whatever I put in the condition, it always returns true.

Even if the value is blank, it returns true. Can you suggest what I should add or change?

Hi Bhagyashree,

have you checked the value of the field in the backend? Also, if you have made any changes to the workflow configuration, have you activated the new version?

Yes,

I debugged the submit manager class, in which I am getting my table with all the values in it.

And yes, I have activated the new version. It also shows in the workflow history.

In the workflow view history, does it gives condition evaluated to True even if it's False?

yes, that's what happening here.

In my condition it should be true only if the department is equal to 1464, but it returns true in all the situations.
