How to sort out wrongly created year in AX 2012R3

Dear All,

I have created a fiscal year but has picked length of period as 12 instead of 1 when the unit is in months. Kindly help how to revert and sort or delete the year since no transaction has been made. Your quick response will be highly appreciated.

Have you reviewed the online documentation for fiscal calendar setup?

docs.microsoft.com/.../key-tasks-fiscal-calendars-fiscal-years-and-periods

You should be able to either divide the period (which I believe you can do multiple times to get the desired 12 periods):

Or delete the fiscal year and recreate it:
