    Hi

As far as I know there is no Quality Control functions is available in BC out of the box. You need a 3rd party app for this or development.

Also, it depends on what kind of Quality Control you are looking for. Sometimes you can design creative solutions with out of the box functions.

For 3rd party app see the following. if you are on-prem you have some other options as well.

If you use manufacturing in Business Central you can define some quality control features. Bu there are no such thing available in BC when you use it for purchasing and selling items.

One workaround could be to use batches and assign item transactions to different batches indicating quality.

There are several add-on Quality Control products.

    Cost Control Software has one

    Silverware Software has one

and I'm sure there are others, check out AppSource

In the routing you can define quality measures

And you can define different quality mesaures.

Here is on example with temperature.

Could also be weight or other kinds of codes you need.

    F. ex. a manual inspector grading the product with in a range.

    Thanks Inge

The only guideline that I saw before what that function is below. But I could not figure out how operator can input the data here to check against defined quality. Also, accept sub-contractor I could not find a way to utilize this for PO.

Do you have a different guideline on how to utilize this? Thanks
