Hello,
maybe this question should be in another forum, but not sure on which exactly.
So, on our dev-boxes we still have VS 2015, where we are getting warnings that VS2017 should be installed.
I have download VS2017 Professional and installed it, but can't see D365 tool to select during the instalation and can't see anything in Extensions.
So how can I use VS2017 for development? Do I have to download and install something separatelly?
Or only way is to delete current dev-boxes and to deploy new ones with VS2017?

While it might be possible to install/update all required things (which include more than just VS2017) manually, the supported approach is deploying new dev boxes:
community.dynamics.com/.../action-required---net-version-and-visual-studio-2017
by April 2021 we will require everyone to have deployed a new VM with VS2017
