Partial RAF fails with WMS item when BOM has On-order quantity

We are facing an issue during partial Report as finished (RAF) for a production/batch order using WMS-enabled items.

When the BOM line has:


  • Partly Reserved physical

  • Remaining quantity On-order

    •  

The RAF fails with:

Posting – Picking list journal  
Inventory dimension Location must be specified

✅ RAF works if the quantity is fully physically reserved

❌ RAF fails if any On-order quantity exists
