Not able to login in Dynamics AX7 RTW Retail CloudPOS

Working on Azure hosted AX7 RTW VM. I am trying to open Cloud POS from CloudPOS.sln (I:\RetailSDK\POS\CloudPOS). It opens login page, I give my credentials which I use to login in Dynamics AX7 but Cloud POS throwing error in below:

Which credentials should i use for login?

When you login into AX you are redirected into Azure AD endpoint, are you also (like in CPOS case which can be seen from your screenshot) seeing there PPE as part of the URL?

Thanks Sergey for replying.

First i see below screen and then i give my Azure AD credentials but it's throwing login error as shown before.

This ask me to enter credentials if i try to open CloudPOS from CloudPOS.sln otherwise direct link https://ax7rtw1devpos.cloudax.dynamics.com/ opens cloud POS Sign-in page without any issue. Links https://ax7rtw1devpos.cloudax.dynamics.com/ never asks to give Azure AD credentials.

I am facing this issue if i run Cloud POS from CloudPOS.sln.

Use same password what you used for AOS. ( https://ax7rtw1aos.cloudax.dynamics.com/).

I see, then please remove the -PPE from the CPOS config in your solution.

Want to correct that i am trying to open Cloud POS from CloudPOS.sln in AX7CTP8 Azure hosted VM.

I have removed -ppe in config.json file in CloudPOS.sln, re-built the solution and trying to open Cloud POS from CloudPOS.sln.

But i am still seeing 'bad request' error.

can anyone please help me to login Cloud POS from CloudPOS.sln successfully ?

If you compare first screenshot you posted to this thread with the one above you will see the difference: at that time your account could not be accepted (because of the PPE as I mentioned in previous message) and now the error is complaining about return Url mismatch, so, Azure AD was able to issue a token but it failed to deliver back to CPOS because of the Return Url mismatch. You have positive progress. To fix this last issue you need to:

1. In your IIS create a web site pointing to your CPOS sources then add https binding for any host name which ends with .dynamics.com

2. modify your hosts file to add a mapping of your local IP address to a host name corresponding to the binding created in the previous step, for instance, you could end up adding something like this:

127.0.0.1 ChooseThePrefixYouWantHere.dynamics.com

3. Run CPOS by navigating to the Url you created above. This time, when you authenticate, you should not have a problem with Return Url.

P. S.

What is the point to use CTP8 if RTW, and even Update 1 are already available?

Point no. 2: Can you please let me know where i will get the host file to modify local IP address, what could be the path to find out host file on Azure hosted VM?

We are facing another issue to open Cloud POS from CloudPOS.sln on RTW1 VM that's why i was trying on CTP8 VM.

P. S.

It is not very effective way to spend time on CTP8 because much newer versions are available.
