Has anyone managed to connect the MXCHIP device to a mobile network so that data can be transmitted where there is no wifi?
I need to send data from a field and its too far to run an ethernet cable, and without power there is no way of extending a wifi signal, or similar.
Been looking at using a Rasberry Pi connected to a GSM transmitter plugin.
Have you looked at sensors/gateways with built-in connectivity, i.e. a SIM card?
