I already read through different posts and topics, but I could not find the right solution for my issue. So I hope that someone of you could give me the right hint to get this problem solved.
What am I trying to do?
We have a workflow implemented where we want to inform the workflow originator that the workflow is Approved. In this case, we do not want to send an email to the workflow originator, we want to inform the originator in the system. This means that I start the workflow, person B approves the workflow and I must receive a notification in the system that my workflow is approved.
What did I set up already?
I set up the workflow which concludes with an automatic approval after a manual decision by person B.

I also activated the notification in the user options:

I also set up the email notification setup (emails are generated according to the "Batch email sending status"). Anyway, this is not what we have as requirement from the customer.
What is the actual issue?
At the moment, no notification is sent to the workflow originator when the workflow is approved.
Does anyone of you has an idea how we can solve this issue or what setups are missing? Any input is appreciated as I already read a lot of posts but did not find the right solution for my issue.
