More details on Customer aging performance enhancement feature in feature management workspace

Below points may be noted for this feature

The feature speeds up the process of aging customer accounts. The enhanced performance is in effect unless customer pools are selected as a filter. This feature will be turned on automatically in April 2021.

Other details :

This functionality was introduced in 10.0.6 and is only intended for enhancing the customer aging performance, however, please make sure to deploy below KB after enabling the function for versions earlier from 10.0.10.
KB 4535644Duplicate record error occurs when running Enhanced performance customer aging snapshot with zero balance customers when a customer has a zero balance but open transactions/invoices

Wanted to know more details on this feature as detailed below :

1) How does this feature help in speeding up the process of aging customer accounts . Would request for more details on this new feature

It's not a business process improvement, its a performance improvement, so the function will run faster, thats it.

Hi Vinu,

Earlier when we used to run the report for Ageing it use to take p=lot of time in case of more data, now MS has released feature where reports gets generated in Batch process and stored in a location which reduces the report generation time as well as it does not impacts other system processes .

Note: Same is done for inventory value report

I believe the generation of report using batch process is available even without this feature enabled .

Can you please let me how this specific feature is helping in increasing the performance of the report . I am looking for details like what changes are being done for enhancing the performance of the report
