Error in previously posted transaction ,after change in accounting structure

Dear All,

After changing the accounting structure ,now we are facing error in some previously posted transaction like pdc settlement,fixed asset transfer ,gv voucher reversal .I read some blogs and came to know that some hotfixes are available .Can anyone please suggest which is the hotfix for this issue.

Ax version :Ax 2012 R2

Hello dhanyanair,

I have seen a number of similar issues in the past with R2 systems.

If you cannot find a suitable hotfix and/or upgrade to R3, I would recommend contacting either the MS support or a colleague from development to fix this.

Hi Sourav,

As i mentioned in my query already posted transaction means ( pdc settlement based on maturity date ,Fixed asset transfer,reverse entry of already posted transactions ) 6370020 that is our error account .Sales tax error that i know.But the first one (error) is the main issue

Could you kindly elaborate a little bit in terms of below.

--- How come already posted transaction is showing error? Are you trying to settle any posted transaction in your current document?

--- Any specific reason to change the account structure?

--- Have you tried to post any entry in this main account 6370020 which looks as 'Closed' as per the screen shot you shared?

--- If this main account is already closed; then have you checked after removing this account from the current account structure if this is working fine or not?

--- Are you trying to manually use any main account in the transaction which is having posting type as "Sales tax" as shown in your screen shot?
