Closing OneNote causes Windows error "Microsoft.Dynamics.NAV.Client has stopped working" in NAV 2013

When closing OneNote after launching it through NAV 2013 to enter a note, NAV frequently "crashes" with a window error "Microsoft.Dynamics.NAV.Client has stopped working". NAV must close and be re-launched. I can replicate the problem at will by clicking the OneNote icon on the customer list, adding a note, closing OneNote, repeat this several times, then open the customer card, click OneNote, add Note, close OneNote and then the error comes. OneNote is a fantastic feature that our clients use extensively. Some days, they can use OneNote without any NAV stopped working errors, and other days, they receive this message frequently. It doesn't appear to be addressed in either platform or application hotfixes and I cannot find a KB article either. Assistance would be greatly appreciated! Melissa

Can you please check NAV server event viewer and report us the detailed notification?

I checked, but there was nothing on the NAV server event viewer related to this error.  The server continued to run, it was the workstation instance that quit responding.  Below is the additional details of the workstation error...

We discovered more information today.  The OneNote window is popping up in 'Dock to Desktop' view although it is not set in the options to do so.  NAV does not crash if the user switches to 'Normal' view before they close the OneNote screen.

Sorry for making the same request, can you provide some additional details from the event viewer, just to check the specific point where the invalid operation is raised?

Melissa and I are working the same issue--she's just out of the office today.  Event Viewer notes she posted in December still apply.

I was reading about crashes with "Additional Information 2:  0a9e372d3b4ad19135b953a78882e789": unfortunately it's not a unique code and applies to whatever application, but from MS a suggestion came to check if the error happen also booting the machine in safe mode.

Can you please state what OneNote version are you using? 2010/2013, 32bit/64bit?
