When trying to open the Budget Maintenance screen, I am receiving a System Message 20227
Attempted to load a BSL customization but BSL components are not installed. We have no customizations to this screen. Any ideas on how to resolve? Thank you in advance.
I assume you are referring to the GL Budget Maintenance (01.250.00) screen. Is there an * next to the screen name? When you go to Export Customizations in the Administration module, do you see the screen there with BSL as the version? If so, then the screen is customized. You would have to install the BSL components that come with the software (you also did not mention the version you are running).

Symptoms
When you try to open any screen in Microsoft Dynamics SL that contains BSL customizations you receive the following error message: System Message 20227-Attempted to load a BSL customization but BSL components are not installed.
Cause
This problem occurs when the BSL components are not installed.
Resolution
Install the BSL components by running the BSLComponents.msi file that is located in the AdditionalComponentInstallers folder that is contained in the Dynamics SL 2015 download package.

Is BSL still used with SL2018? When I upgraded from SL2011 everything using BSL broke.
You need to run the installation found under AdditionalComponentInstallers in the zip file.
To the OP: run a query against the Custom2 table in your system database. I've had instances where a "Save Settings on Exit" customization was lurking there. Not an intentional customization, but treated as such.
Thanks Stuart, I did install on the server and will try to run my Transaction Import there.I sure hope it works as I have 100. invoices to get out today!
