Custom Services in DMZ, what is needed?

Hello,

I have a situation were I should deploy my Custom Services made with X++ into public internet's DMZ server not running AOS and then that DMZ should use AX AOS server that is inside Company's Network. What kind of configuration is usually used in this kind of case? If ip-addresses and ports are visible between these two servers is it enough that AX Client is installed into DMZ and Services/Servicesgroups are configured to use AOS Server? Or does Custom Services need more than AX Client to be run in DMZ, can anyone clarify this kind of case?

    Hi Michael

    From a technical point of view, I think is enough reach the AOS Server and relative Port.

    From a Security point of view, I suggest you to use an HTTP(s) adapter instead of a WCF adapter.
