How to get data for NDR's, attachment opens, and link clicks from email marketing campaign

Hi all,

I'm new to D365 CE v9 and looking for some help.  I have sent out a few email campaigns (11) to about 10K contacts.  I want to be able to get a view or report or some such that will give me the contacts that had email failures (NDR's - Non Delivery Receipts), how many and who opened the attachment I had with the emails, and how many/who clicked on any of the hyperlinks I had in the body of the email messages.

How do I do this?

Thanks very much!

    Hi AriaConsulting,

Read this article to learn how to prepare marketing email messages using Dynamics 365 for Marketing. ClickDimensions Email Marketing for Dynamics 365 is another great option.

Thanks Adrian.  But, I used the "base" marketing module, not the new app, nor clickdimensions.  So, I'm trying to see if the data I want is available through the base module.  Which, it seems to me, if Microsoft is going to call the module "marketing, it should be since that is pretty much the very first few pieces of data ANYBODY doing email marketing wants.

No, that is not an email automation module.  It's a marketing campaign management module for salespeople.  Microsoft tracks none of that data in the old Campaign module, and every explicitly says so in the online help about it.  In fact, you're not supposed to mass email out of that at all, because it directly hits your local Exchange server, which can get your real mail server blacklisted for spam.

Dynamics 365 Marketing is Microsoft's Email marketing automation module (well, that and a lot more) and is sold separately.  As Adrian mentioned, ClickDimensions is also a very good email marketing module for Dynamics 365 Sales.  Both of those will track the statistics you are looking for, and will handle mail sends separately.
