is there an api specific to health check, that integrations can call to make sure d365fo environment is up and running?
i thought about calling url/data but i want sth specific for health check as the data api returns lots of info and it can't be filtered to return 1 record for example
In case you have external applications, they can assume that the production environment of Dynamics 365 F&O is up and running 24/7. There might be some downtime due to deploying updates and customizations, but those dates are known in upfront by your organization. Assuming the cloud service is up for 99%, I wonder about the purpose of a check.
If it is not up, the external service will get an error, like 503 Service unavailable.
