My client require auto-generation of Delivery Notes report by the system once shipments arrive and ready for delivery and payment terms met.
How to setup this.

There is a difference between shipment arrivals and production orders. Or is it the same in your scenario? Assuming the completion of a production order will be extended to create a packing slip; who knows what needs to be sent to the customer? Is there a link between production order and the SO? Is the production created from SO or is there a link because of a reservation? What exact step is meant as completing the production? If it reporting as finished?
Note that there are features in AX that actually can release waves or you can also use a picking workbench as support for your scenario.

Let's assume Salesman created SO for Item1 with 10 quantities and production team producing Item1. Once production completed than report should generate automatically with produced quantities.

Can you elaborate? What action will be done to let the system know that shipments have been arrived? What exactly do you mean with the delivery notes here? Is there a link between purchase and sales? Please describe the customer process completely, so we can better help you.
