Anonymous chat setup

Posted on by 5

In customer service admin, setup chat channel, Authentication settings is set to On. Also, it's greyed out so it can't be turned off.

I'm attempting to configure a Live Agent transfer from a publicly hosted Power Virtual Agents bot. I assume that this requires configuring for anonymous/unauthenticated behavior.

I can't locate any documentation on this type of setup - only authenticated.

Is my assumption correct?

Where's the link to the appropriate documentation?

    Is this it?

When i create one new chat and set it, the Authentication settings are turned off by default, and i can switch it freely.
