Change password functionality not working

Greetings Everyone,

Change Password Ribbon button is not working in several of my systems.

This is the message that I'm receiving:

message"An error has occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support."

There are almost no resources online that can help me with this issue.

I have only found this (kind of a latest) post: PowerApps Forum Link

So what is the fix, what can I do ?

Would love to hear any kind of advices.

    UPDATE:

    It's working from the Portal.

    It doesn't work from Entity(Contact) Record.

    This is because of TaskFlow deprecation from Wave 2. Currently as work around this is enabled only from portal management. Hope so we'll get this back by latest release expected in this month.

    Did you end up getting the Change password functionality after January's release?

    Supposedly this was going to be resolved in January 2022, but based on replies as recent as July 2022, there is clearly no bug fix to restore the functionality lost in the Wave 2 update. The workaround of going through the Portal Management app technically works, but it's not sufficient to replace the lost functionality. Very disappointing that we're stuck with a Workaround after an entire year.
