Forms loading twice (auto-refresh)

The screenshot below describes the issue that I am facing. In detail, in the form with Header View mode, when I click on the Edit button just one time, the system did automatically twice.

Also, with original PurchTable form, I also observed the same issue happened on that form. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

What do you mean? when you say "... the system did automatically twice"

Do you mean two form are getting displayed

Please provide more clarify about your issue.

If it is customization, Please check the menu item. inside tab strip, I was facing some issue, on one customization when developer used menu item for run the child form, and also called the same form on its click event.

Yes, there are customizations. But nothing having to do with the refresh behavior. Am I missing something? Thank you for your response.

No, only one form is displayed, but it is displayed and you can clearly see it refresh.

To test, I console message, and it comes twice.

Not sure why. I checked the tab strip. Nothing.

Thanks for the information.

Now next question is,

could you please explain some specifics about the issues you are facing when form refreshes twice.

If you don't have any customization then I don't think double refresh could be any issue.

because some time it is required to call executeQuery() to refresh Datasource multiple time may be due to setting ranges to the to datasource

Please verify and update us with more details

Hi.

We had this as a result of customisations in methods such as a datasource's "active" or "modifiedField", "write" or "insert". We had for example code like myTable_ds.refresh or myTable_ds.reread. Clicking on the button may cause some of these to be called due to auto-save etc.

Found the issue, it was indeed a call to executeQuery causing a datasource refresh more than the once needed.
