Not sure what kind of differences you are looking  for but below are some links which are going to help you to understand integration techniques

    docs.microsoft.com/.../data-management-api

    docs.microsoft.com/.../services-home-page

    Hi Sukrut,

Thanks but for more understanding for example:

1)APP registration in power BI Process is same in On Prem?

    2) How to connect with SQL database of Cloud or on Premise D365FO?

    3) How to connect with OData of Cloud or on Premise D365FO?

I know how online works, But is it same for on prem as well or any differences?

You will get your answers here

    docs.microsoft.com/.../cloud-prem-comparison

1.Integration with power bi.com is not supported . (Look for section Intelligence in above link)

2.On cloud version you can not connect to prod SQL DB . You can use BYODB in both versions to export data out of PROD db.

    3. In both version it should be same.

Look above link for feature differences

    Hi Sukrut,

Thanks , I need one clarity if Power BI.com is not available for on prem(It means I cant publish reports to .com service), in that case how I will pin reports in D365FO Workspaces?

Embeded PowerBI is not available for On prem, As you know you have advantage to have AX database on local server so can use Normal Power BI.

If you look at the same link, it clearly says no to Analytical workspaces.

AXDW database is for Embedded (D365FO) Power BI, And for On Prem, you can replicate BYOD and use that for Power BI desktop.
