Hello people,

I am a developer working towards integrating Microsoft dynamics 365 CRM.

I was using the dynamics 365 leads web API, while using the API, the request is taking too long and eventually getting time out error. While i was trying in the post man out of 10 times it is working for 9 times by taking long time than expected, but in code it is failing everytime with time out error

Can anyone help me with the reason why it is happening.

Thanks in advance.

    Hello Ram Prakash,

Do you mean to check for the direct plugins that would be available for this lead entity or is it something else..?

If that is what you are suggesting, Any issue in using the web API directly..?

Sorry, I am new to this tool, It would be great if you elaborate on your suggestion.

    Hello Bhaskar K,

Plugins which is registered in the server will trigger when we are triggering any CRUD(create/update/Delete) operation from web api.

So just to check if any thing is available, if yes try disable and try again to check the timining.

    Hello Ramprakash,

    Thanks for the explanation.

I haven't used any plug-in for this integration, I just created my test organization and working on it with the dynamics 365 lead web API

I guess in on-prem we can deploy any plug-ins or workflows, I don't think I was using them.

    Hi

Make sure you followed this setup process:

Set up a Postman environment (Developer Guide for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement) | Microsoft Docs

I had setup a Postman environment and same happen to me, then I followed these instructions and now it works well.

If this was helpful prease check it as verified to help others finding useful information.

    Welcome to this amazing community.

    Hello Kenneth Chavas,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my query.

Actually I am using the Oauth2.0 process explicitly to request these APIs, And my issue majorly is happening in node.js code, not in postman.

Any help to overcome the timeout issue happening in my code would be helpful.

    Thanks
